A Photographer Who Needed More Than a Pretty Website

Raj Bedag is a commercial and portrait photographer based in Bengaluru — covering everything from pre-wedding shoots and maternity sessions to corporate campaigns and product photography. His work was already strong. What he needed was a digital foundation that could handle the business side of being a professional photographer.

Enquiries were coming in through DMs and WhatsApp at all hours. Studio rental availability was being tracked manually via phone calls. His portfolio was scattered across different social media profiles with no single, curated destination he could share with a potential corporate client. The opportunity cost of this was real — serious clients expect serious digital presence.

He came to us for a website. We came back with a plan for a complete business platform.

The Studio Rental Booking System — Powered by n8n + Google Calendar

One of the most time-consuming parts of Raj's day was fielding calls to check studio availability, confirm time slots, and manually block calendar entries. We automated all of it.

The studio rental booking page shows live available time slots pulled directly from Raj's Google Calendar in real time. Customers pick a date, see exactly which hours are open, select their slots (each slot is 1 hour, multi-select supported), and submit their booking — all without a single phone call.

• n8n orchestrates the entire booking workflow — from form submission to calendar blocking to confirmation
• Booked slots are instantly marked on the live calendar so the next visitor sees accurate availability with no double-booking risk
• Slots already booked are visually flagged as "Booked" on the UI — customers know exactly what's taken
• Business hours (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–8 PM) are enforced by the system automatically
• Raj gets a structured booking notification every time a slot is confirmed — no manual entry required

The AI Chatbot — Enquiries and Bookings Through Conversation

Customers don't always want to fill a form. Some want to ask a question first — pricing, what's included in a shoot, turnaround time, which backdrop is best for a maternity session. We built a chatbot that handles all of it, around the clock.

The chatbot is trained on everything Raj offers — every shoot type, pricing structure, package details, studio rental terms, and FAQs. A customer can ask "How much does a pre-wedding shoot cost?" and get a real, accurate answer instantly at 11 PM on a Sunday.

• Answers questions about all shoot types: pre-wedding, baby, maternity, corporate, product, family, classical, and more
• Provides pricing and package information in a conversational format — no hunting through pages
• Customers can book studio rental directly through the chatbot by chatting — the bot collects name, date, and time preference and processes the booking through the same n8n workflow

The Gallery — A Shareable Portfolio That Closes Deals

One of the most practical features we built was the filterable gallery. Raj used to send potential clients to his Instagram to see his work — but Instagram mixes everything, the UI isn't ideal for a professional pitch, and the client has to scroll to find what they care about.
